Goodbye 2014

Hallelujah! we made it to the last month of the year, it's being a great 2014, for some and some may say a bad one, but most importantly you made it to this month, that's a testimony. I'm glad i made it, despite the unhappy and tough moments. We are few days away from 2015, what do you want to leave in 2014? why not do that now and save yourself the new year resolutions. Personally i think i'm tired of saying new year new resolution and maybe going back 2 weeks later, i think i can be a better person and drop bad habits at the end of the year.
We shouldn't forget to reflect on what we have done for the year, you became a year older, achieved or lost, what ever be the case your page wasn't left blank. With each year we are supposed to move forward, grow older and become better. As humans we make mistakes and i think they are made for our corrections, if this year wasn't good, i think you have learnt and the next would be a better one. Despite what we might have gone through this year we shouldn't forget to give thanks and love. Instead of making resolutions on dropping bad habits, why not make resolutions on doing much better than the previous year, challenging your self to achieve things you couldn't the previous year.
Many people might resort to blaming God for the promises that didn't come true, why not thank him for the ones that did. God might not have given you what you wanted but he sure did give you something. In church i was told getting healed is a blessing but not getting sick is a greater blessing, think of the things God has done that you see as little, keeping you alive, your friends, your family, being able to eat well, getting good education, good home and so on. What we don't know is that it's a great blessing, so many people are not privileged to have that but you do, why not thank God for that? As we go into 2015 let's focus more on achieving or going a step ahead rather than making lists of what we end up not doing. we should be more thankful rather than complaining, learn to love, smile, be happy and leave behind negativity. I want to achieve more in 2015, i want same for you too. i pray we all make it to 2015 and be greater people in 2015, what you weren't able to achieve in the past years, you'll in Jesus name.
